iPhone – How to add MarineFlipper app to your home screen

Before You Start

This feature requires Safari. Other browsers on iPhone (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) do not support adding websites to the home screen. If you are currently using a different browser, switch to Safari before continuing.

Step 1 — Open Safari

Launch the Safari browser from your iPhone home screen or app library.

Step 2 — Navigate to the Website

Tap the address bar at the top of the screen, type the full URL (for example, https://marineflipper.com), and tap Go on the keyboard to load the page.

Step 3 — Tap the Share Button

At the bottom of the Safari screen, tap the Share icon — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing upward. If the toolbar is hidden, swipe up slightly on the page to reveal it.

Step 4 — Select “Add to Home Screen”

Scroll down through the share sheet options until you see Add to Home Screen and tap it. If you do not see this option, make sure the full webpage has loaded (not a PDF or downloaded file).

Step 5 — Name the Shortcut

A text field will appear pre-filled with the page title. You can edit this to whatever label you want to appear beneath the icon on your home screen.

Step 6 — Tap “Add”

Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen. The icon will be placed on your home screen immediately and can be moved or organized like any other app.

Requires Safari on iOS 16.4 or later.
