Android – How to add MarineFlipper app to your home screen
Before You Start
These steps use Google Chrome, which is the recommended browser for this on Android. The feature is also available in Firefox and Microsoft Edge for Android, though menu names may differ slightly between browsers.
Step 1 — Open Chrome
Launch Google Chrome from your home screen or app drawer. Make sure the app is up to date for the best experience.
Step 2 — Navigate to the Website
Tap the address bar, type the full URL (for example, https://marineflipper.com), and tap Go or press Enter on the keyboard to load the page.
Step 3 — Tap the Three-Dot Menu
Tap the ⋮ (three vertical dots) icon in the top-right corner of Chrome to open the options menu.
Step 4 — Tap “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll through the menu and tap Add to Home Screen. If the website is a Progressive Web App (PWA), you may see Install App instead — either option will work.
Step 5 — Name the Shortcut
A dialog box will appear with an editable name field. Update the label if you want a shorter or more recognizable name to appear under the icon on your home screen.
Step 6 — Tap “Add”
Tap Add to confirm. The icon will be placed on your home screen. Depending on your Android launcher, you may be asked to choose a location, or it will be added to the next available spot automatically.
Requires Android 8.0 or later. Google Chrome recommended.
